Support
We're happy to help.
For questions, bug reports, or feedback, email support@echoes.am. It helps to include your device, iOS version, and the show or recording you were using, if any.
Account
Do I need an account?
No. When you first open Echoes, it creates a guest account so your library can sync. You can sign in with Apple or create an account with your email at any time to keep your library.
How do I change my name, username, or email?
In the app, go to Account.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Account → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your playlists and collections and removes your name, email, username, and sign-in credentials. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Can I get a copy of my data?
Yes. Email support@echoes.am and we'll respond within 30 days.
Listening
Where does the music come from?
Echoes plays live recordings from the Internet Archive's Live Music Archive and Phish.in. If a recording is removed from its archive, it's removed from Echoes too.
How do I free up storage?
Downloads are stored on your device, and you can remove them at any time from within the app. Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your device.
Safari extension
What does the extension do?
When you visit an Internet Archive or Phish.in show page, the optional Echoes Safari extension checks whether Echoes has that show so you can open it in the app. It only runs on those two sites. The Privacy Policy explains exactly what it sends.
Community
How do I report or block someone?
You can report a profile, collection, playlist, or review from its menu, and block someone from their profile. We review reports within 24 hours. You can also write to support@echoes.am.
I'm an artist, taper, or rights holder
If you believe a recording or image shouldn't be in Echoes, or should be credited differently, email support@echoes.am and we'll review it promptly.
